My mom keeps saying liver is bohot good for iron and wants to make kaleji for me. But somewhere I read too much liver is not okay in pregnancy. Im 14 weeks, thoda confused now. Anyone here ate it during pregnancy?
Oh god, I remember how stressed I was about every little thing during my pregnancy! My doc had said it's okay in very small amounts, like once in a blue moon, mainly for iron. But seriously, just ask your gynac to be sure, it's worth it for peace of mind.
Sach batau toh, jo cheez mein doubt ho, usko avoid hi karo. Kyun risk lena? Ek choti si bhi problem ho toh doctor visit, test, sab mein kharcha ho jaata hai. Better to stick to safe foods only. Save that money for baby's clothes, not unnecessary doc visits! 😉
Haan, log kehte hain ki thoda bohot chal jaata hai, but zyada nahi. Mere gynac ne bhi bola tha ki small portion, once in a while, is fine but check with your doc first only. Don't take chances. Better to be safe na.
Dekho, behen, liver mein Vitamin A bahut high hota hai. Zyada Vitamin A acha nahi hota baby ke liye. Better hai avoid karo ya phir bahut hi kam, once in a long while. Apne doc se ek baar confirm kar lo, wahi best batayenge.
My doctor was very clear on this – no liver during pregnancy. The high Vitamin A content is a risk. Seriously, don't take a chance with things like this. Stick to your prenatal vitamins for nutrients and other iron-rich foods.
Honestly, I avoided it completely just to be safe! 🤔 There are so many other yummy things to eat for iron, na? Focus on leafy greens and dals! But yeah, if you're really craving, definitely ask your gynac! Better safe than sorry! 😊
It's so sweet how much you're thinking about every single thing for your baby. I remember feeling the same worry. About liver, honestly, it's one of those things where doctors have different opinions. Best to check with your own gynac specifically for your case. You're doing great, mama!
