My saas makes this neem chutney at home and keeps insisting i have it, but somewhere i read na that neem is not good when ur pregnant. Now im confused. Anyone here ate neem leaves during pregnancy?
Arre, neem is super bitter anyway, why do u want to eat it now? Honestly skip it, with twins my taste buds were wild but neem is a big no from what I've heard.
Please consult your gynac before eating anything like neem. It has very strong properties and during pregnancy we shouldn't take any chances with herbal leaves.
My nutritionist at Cloudnine strictly told me to avoid herbal leaves like neem during these months. Best is to ask your doctor or hospital dietitian in your next visit.
In our family, elders say neem is very good for purifying blood, but my doctor told me it's not safe during pregnancy. So I completely avoided it and listened to my doctor.
Neem is great for health otherwise, but during pregnancy it is better to avoid it completely as it can cause contractions. Stick to simple home food dear.
Honestly, just avoid it. There's no scientific reason to eat neem leaves during pregnancy and it can actually be unsafe. Just stick to normal leafy veggies.
Oh god even my MIL told me to have it for skin but I got so scared. Are you also getting confused by everyone's advice? I am in my 5th month and keeping things simple.
