Sorry typo, i mean nutties/dry fruits and nuts. My cravings for almonds and cashews have gone up a lot in my 4th month. Is it fine to have a handful daily or too much?
In our家 we always soaked almonds overnight and gave to the pregnant girl in the morning. It is considered good for the baby's brain, beta. Just don't eat too many, a handful is enough, and skip if doctor told you otherwise.
Nuts were actually my go to snack when I had gestational diabetes because they don't spike sugar much. But I measured my portions, roughly a small handful. If you have any sugar issues, do check the quantity with your doctor.
I think you mean nuts dear, autocorrect plays tricks. Yes nuts like almonds, walnuts, cashews are actually good during pregnancy, full of nutrients. Just have them in normal quantity and avoid if you have any nut allergy.
Actually nuts are great yaar, I kept a small dabba in my bag for hunger pangs. Soaked almonds in the morning was my MIL's thing and I just continued it. Bas zyada mat khaana, thoda hi enough hai.
Oh I lived on roasted nuts and seeds during my pregnancy, such a satisfying crunchy snack when cravings hit. I mixed almonds, walnuts and a few raisins. Way better than reaching for biscuits all the time, honestly.
