I get such bad papad cravings with my dal yaar, roasted wala mostly. But heard its high salt so now im second guessing. Is thoda bit ok occasionally or better to avoid fully?
I have seen this question quite often here! Yes, you can definitely have papad, but roasted is much better than deep-fried. Just keep in mind that papad is high in sodium, which can sometimes increase blood pressure, so don't make it a daily habit.
Since you are carrying a precious miracle, I know how every little food choice can make you anxious. Eating a roasted papad occasionally is absolutely fine, just watch the salt intake to avoid swelling. Sending you so much love and positive energy for your journey.
Haan na, you can eat papad but don't have too much because it has a lot of salt and soda. I used to crave roasted papad with my meals, but fried ones can give you acidity. Better to eat in moderation, ho na.
I can only tell you what I did during my pregnancy, I had roasted papad almost every day with my dal rice because I had bad taste in my mouth. It didn't cause me any issues at all. But if you are worried about the spices or salt, check with your doctor.
Of course you can eat papad, just don't try to make a whole meal out of it! Our pregnancy cravings are wild, but maybe keep the fried ones a bit limited unless you want your chest to feel like it's on fire with acidity.
