Got a real craving for karvande these days, the sour ones, and i ate quite a few yesterday. Then someone told me khatta things are not good now and i got worried. Is it actually a problem in pregnancy or okay in small amount?
As a fruit in moderation it's generally fine, but I'd say wash it properly and avoid the very sour or unripe ones in excess. With my food restrictions I always double checked new things with my doc. If unsure, just ask at your next visit.
In normal small quantity it should be okay, its a regular seasonal fruit. Just wash it well and dont overeat the very sour unripe ones. If you have acidity or any stomach issue from it, then check with your doctor.
Karvanda is just a tangy little fruit beta, in small amounts its fine and we ate it for that sour craving. Bas dont eat a lot at once as it can give acidity. A few is okay, no need to fear it.
We grew up eating karvanda, its nothing harmful in a small bowl. Pregnancy makes you crave sour things na, so a little is okay. Just dont fill up only on it, eat your proper food also.
