I keep reading scary things online about pineapple causing problems in early pregnancy and now im a little worried because i ate some last week. Im only 9 weeks. Is there really any truth to this or just a myth? pls share.
Honestly I avoided it early on out of fear, then googled too much and panicked. Later my gynac reassured me a small portion is harmless. Wish I hadnt stressed so much over fruit.
The worry comes from bromelain, but the amount in a normal serving is tiny. My doctor said a few pieces are absolutely fine. Just dont eat unrealistic quantities and you are okay.
