Sorry typo, i mean cashew (kaju). I have a small handful almost daily with my evening tea but MIL said too many nuts heat the body in pregnancy. Im in my 4th month, is it actually fine yaar?
Cashews are fine but I had to watch quantity because of sugar issues. Plain unsalted ones, a few a day. If you have any sugar problem pls ask your doctor about portion.
Beta cashew is good for energy in pregnancy, we always added it in kheer at home. But soak overnight if it feels heavy on your tummy, thoda easy to digest that way.
I add few cashews and almonds in my breakfast, my gynac said dry fruits in small amount are good. Just balance it, nuts are calorie heavy so a small portion does the job.
If you mean cashew, then yes you can eat in pregnancy. I used to have a small handful daily with my morning milk. Just dont overdo, few pieces is enough.
