Im around 6 weeks and having some pain on one side, it got me a bit scared after reading about ectopic. My scan is in 2 days. Can they actually see it this early? a little anxious tbh.
My gynac explained that around 6 weeks they usually combine a scan with blood hCG to see if things are in the right place. Sometimes it needs a repeat scan to be sure. Definitely something only the doctor can confirm, not a home guess.

Yes it often gets picked up around then on a scan with the hCG levels. I went through an ectopic and the doctors caught it early because I went in for sharp pain. If you have severe one sided pain or bleeding, please go to your doctor right away, do not wait.
