Can ectopic pregnancy be detected by home pregnancy test?
Got a positive test but having some weird pain on one side, honestly thoda scared hu. Im going to gynac this week to check properly but wanted to understand, does the home test even show if its ectopic?
From what I read, a home test will only show a normal positive because it checks hCG hormone levels. It can't tell where the baby is. If you have any sharp pain or spotting, please talk to your doctor soon.
Personally, my home test was just a normal positive. It was only when I went to my doctor for an early ultrasound that she checked everything was in the right place. That's why those early doctor visits are so important.
I worried about ectopic pregnancy so much in my first month! Please remember a home kit can't detect it, it will just show positive. If you have even a little shoulder pain, spotting, or cramping, please contact your doctor immediately.
I felt so confused about this during my first scan. A home test only showed me a positive line, but it was my first ultrasound that confirmed the correct placement. Please don't rely only on home tests, go for a proper scan.
My home test just gave me two lines and zero clues about location! Only a proper ultrasound at the clinic can confirm if it's ectopic. If you're feeling severe one-sided pain, run to your gynac, don't wait.
Haan na, home test toh bas positive dikhayega kyunki hormone body me banta hai. Par woh ectopic hai ya normal, doctor hi ultrasound se bata sakte hain. Please early scan karwa lena, safe rehna chahiye ho na?
