Can ectopic pregnancy happen after removal of tube?
I had one tube removed last year due to an ectopic and now we're trying again. Honestly im a bit anxious it could happen on the other side too. Has anyone here conceived safely after a tube removal?
I had an ectopic and lost one tube, and my doctor told me the risk still exists in the remaining tube or rarely elsewhere, so they monitor early pregnancies closely. Please get an early scan next time and stay in touch with your gynac, dont skip those early checks.
From what my gynac explained, if one tube is removed, an ectopic can still occur in the other tube, and very rarely in other spots even if both are affected. Thats why early ultrasound is so important. Definitely a question to discuss in detail with your own doctor for your situation.
