My scan last week showed it might be ectopic and im honestly so scared and confused. The doctor is monitoring my levels for now but no clear answer yet. Has anyone here gone through this where it sorted out on its own, or did u need treatment? Really need to hear real experiences pls.
I know how much you might be hoping to avoid intervention, I have felt that fear too. But please, an ectopic needs your doctor watching it closely, do not leave it alone. If you have pain or bleeding, go in right away.
My doctor explained that in some cases a very early ectopic can resolve by itself, but it is never something to assume or leave unmonitored because it can rupture. They watch the hcg and scans carefully. Decisions like this must be with your doctor only.
Please do not wait and hope an ectopic resolves on its own, it can become dangerous quickly. I had one and the doctors monitored and treated it closely. This is a situation where you need medical care urgently, not waiting.
