Can endometriosis surgery cause ectopic pregnancy?
I had a lap surgery for endo 2 yrs back and now we are trying to conceive. Someone in my family said it can raise ectopic risk and ab thoda dar lag raha hai. Anyone here got pregnant after endo surgery, kaisa tha your experience?
I am currently 18 weeks pregnant and I also had endo surgery before this. I keep worrying about complications every single day, it is so exhausting. Did anyone else here also have a completely smooth pregnancy after their laparoscopy? Please share your stories!
Oh god, this is such a scary thought na! I literally spent nights googling this after my laparoscopy because I overthink everything. Actually, surgery clears out the blockage so it usually helps, but pls ask your gynac to ease your mind. Tension mat lo, everything will be fine!
When I was getting my treatment at Cloudnine, I made sure to ask my consultant about all these risks. They have such good doctors and care managers, they explained everything clearly. Definitely talk to your doctor or senior hospital staff during your next visit instead of guessing.
Honestly, I can't tell you the medical side of this. But I had my endo surgery done in 2021 and got pregnant naturally last year, normal pregnancy tha completely. My doctor told me it actually improved my chances, so just sharing what happened with me.
Please be very careful with this and don't take any chances. Ectopic pregnancy is a very serious thing and needs immediate doctor attention if you feel any sharp pain or spotting. Better to get a proper scan done and let your gynac guide you, don't ignore any signs.
