Having loose motions since yesterday and we usually keep entroquinal at home for this. Im 18 weeks so not taking anything without checking. Has anyone been given this in pregnancy? will confirm with my doc also before taking.
Please dont take any anti diarrhoea or stomach medicine on your own in pregnancy. If you have loose motions, hydration with ORS is the first thing, and call your doctor. Let your gynac decide if any medicine is needed.
Beta for a mild upset stomach we gave rice water, curd and ORS, and rest. These are safe and gentle. But for any tablet you must ask the doctor, dont take it on your own.
Honestly for loose motions in pregnancy the main thing is fluids and ORS, and you let the doctor pick any medicine. Dont self take this one. If diarrhoea is severe or with fever, see the doctor soon.
