While coughing increases abdominal pressure, it shouldn't cause uterine bleeding. My doctor said that any bleeding in early pregnancy is a symptom that needs prompt medical evaluation, so please contact your gynac immediately.
I also have a mild cough right now and get so scared when I cough hard. Did anyone else experience spotting after coughing, or should I go to the emergency room? I'm so worried.

Coughing might make you pee a little, but bleeding is definitely not normal! Please give your gynac a call right now to make sure everything is completely fine.

Coughing only strains your outer stomach muscles, it doesn't affect the baby inside. However, bleeding in early pregnancy is a sensitive issue, so please get in touch with your doctor as soon as possible.
