Someone at home mentioned false fruit and now im curious if its fine to eat while pregnant. Im 5 months along. Anyone actually had it during these months?
If you mean the seasonal phalsa fruit, yes, you can eat it but please keep it in very small quantities. During my precious IVF journey, I was so careful with hot or cold foods. Phalsa is very cooling but moderation is always the safest path.
Actually yaar, phalsa is so refreshing in the heat! I was also confused initially, but my gynac said it's totally fine to eat. Just don't have too much at once because it can lower body temperature, keep it moderate and enjoy!
Yes, phalsa is fine to eat and actually great for hydration in summers. I used to carry a small box to my office to munch on during breaks. Just don't drink too much of the sweet market juice, raw fruit at home is much healthier.
Of course you can eat phalsa. It's rich in iron and vitamin C which is actually great for you and the baby. I used to eat it with a little black salt during my second pregnancy and had absolutely no issues.
Phalsa, often called false fruit, is quite healthy and helps with morning sickness or acidity. Just make sure you wash them really well with clean water. Having a handful of fresh phalsa during the day is perfectly fine.
Look, phalsa fruit is totally safe to eat during pregnancy, so don't believe any random myths about it causing miscarriage. Just wash it thoroughly before eating because they are small and can have dust. Eat in normal quantities, don't overdo it.
I checked this when I was pregnant because my blood sugar levels were always a concern due to PCOS. Phalsa actually has a low glycemic index, so it is safe. Just keep the portions small and don't eat too much of it at one go.
