My allergy is acting up badly and I found this tablet at home from before pregnancy. I am 10 weeks now so scared to take anything without asking. Has anyone's gynac allowed allergy medicine during pregnancy?
I wouldn't take any allergy medicine on my own during pregnancy honestly. When I had bad allergies my gynac told me which one was okay for me. Please dont self medicate, just ring your doctor and ask, they'll guide you properly.
I'm always extra careful with meds in pregnancy, never take anything unless my doc okays it. For allergies definitely check with your gynac first, don't go by what worked for someone else na.
Don't take any tablet for allergy on your own in pregnancy. Call your gynac, tell her your symptoms, she'll prescribe what's safe. That's the only right way with meds now.
This is really something your doctor should decide based on your trimester and history. Some antihistamines are used in pregnancy under guidance but I wouldn't pop it without asking. Quick call to your gynac will sort it out.
