Bit shy to ask this but i couldnt find a clear answer anywhere. Im in second trimester and just wondering if its okay or something to be careful about. Anyone been through this?
Its a very normal question dont feel shy about it. In most healthy pregnancies it is fine but hygiene matters and gentleness too. If your doctor has not put any restriction you can ask them quietly, they will guide you right.
Please ask your doctor first before anything like this. I had a low lying placenta and was told to avoid all that completely. What is safe for one may not be for another, so dont go by general advice here.
If your pregnancy is normal and doctor hasnt restricted anything its generally ok, just keep hands clean and be gentle. But if you ever notice bleeding or cramps after, stop and check with doc. Every pregnancy is different so ask yours to be sure.
In a normal healthy pregnancy gentle intimacy is usually fine, but it really depends on your individual case. If you have any bleeding, low placenta or doctor told you to avoid then no. Best to just ask your gynac directly, they wont mind these questions at all.
