Can folvite be substitute for folxtablet for pregnancy?
The medical shop near me didnt have the one my doctor wrote and gave me folvite instead. Now im not sure if its the same thing or i should go look elsewhere. Ill confirm with my gynac but wanted to ask here also if anyone switched like this.
Please dont take chances with medicines during pregnancy. Even if both have folic acid the dose may differ. Call your doctor before replacing, its not worth the guessing.

Usually these are folic acid tablets but I still always tell people to confirm composition with the pharmacist and doc. Show both strips to your gynac and let her okay it, takes a second.
Dont substitute yourself yaar. Some have only folic acid, some have extra stuff. Just message your gynac with both names, she'll tell in 2 min if its okay to swap.
