Can food habits during pregnancy alter skin color of baby?
My relatives keep saying eat saffron and coconut so baby will be fair, and avoid this that. Is there any truth in this or just old talk? matlab does what I eat really change baby's complexion? just curious.
Actually this is just an old myth, skin color is 100% genetics yaar. No amount of coconut or kesar is going to change that. Just enjoy your cravings and eat healthy, don't stress about these things!
I ate tons of saffron milk because my family insisted, but my baby has the exact same wheatish complexion as my husband. From my experience, skin color is purely genetic. I realized it's better to eat for health rather than skin tone.
Skin color is totally decided by DNA, food has nothing to do with it. Don't listen to people who say saffron or milk makes baby fair. Just eat normal, nutritious ghar ka khana so the baby is healthy and strong, that's what actually matters.
No dear, baby's skin color depends completely on genetics from parents. Food habits won't change it, so just focus on eating healthy for the baby's growth. Take care and stay happy.
Hey, don't stress too much about these old wives' tales! Your baby's skin color is already decided by you and your husband's genes. Just eat whatever healthy food you love and stay happy, that's all your little one needs.
