After starting Gemcal I feel more nauseous, but I am not sure if it is the tablet or normal pregnancy vomiting. I will ask my gynac before changing anything. Did calcium tablets make anyone feel sick?
I had this with my calcium tab, taking it at night after dinner instead of morning fixed it for me. But if u r vomiting a lot dont keep guessing, just call ur doctor and let them decide.
Calcium tablets like that can sometimes upset the stomach and cause nausea, specially on empty stomach. I always took mine after food and it helped. If it keeps making u throw up, tell ur gynac, they might switch the brand or time.
Calcium and vitamin combos can cause mild nausea in some people, taking it with food or before bed often helps. But heavy vomiting shouldnt just be brushed off, run it by ur gynac so they can confirm and change if needed.
Some women do feel queasy with calcium supplements but please dont just decide its the tablet and stop it on ur own. Mention the vomiting to ur doctor, they will tell u if its the gemcal or something else and adjust it safely.
