Can gestational diabetes at early pregnancy make embryo grow slower?
Im around 9 weeks and my sugar came slightly on higher side in early test. Doc has asked me to repeat but till then mera dimaag tension me hai, kya isse baby ki growth slow ho sakti hai? Anyone went through this early on?
Sugar issues are so common these days during pregnancy, even my saas was telling me how her sister had it. She always tells me to eat small meals and avoid sweets completely. Do consult your doctor regularly, but home foods and walking also help a lot.
Actually, I had gestational diabetes from week 10 itself and my baby's growth was slightly lagging initially. It can happen if sugar is not controlled, so please check with your doctor immediately for a proper diet or insulin plan. Don't take any chances with this.
Early gestational diabetes definitely needs medical management to ensure proper embryo development. It's best to consult your endocrinologist and gynac together rather than guessing. They will help you balance your sugar levels perfectly with a proper plan.
Oh god, I completely get your tension, I used to check my sugar after every bite during my pregnancy. Please don't stress too much because stress also increases sugar levels. Just talk to your gynac once, they will guide u properly on how to manage it safely.
I am in my 5th month now and even I have high sugar levels, so tracking it daily. Did your doctor mention anything about the baby's growth being slow? My gynac said if we keep sugar in control with diet, baby's growth remains absolutely fine.
