Can hemorrhagic cyst create complicating pregnancy?

My scan showed a hemorrhagic cyst and now i cant stop worrying about it. Im 9 weeks and the doc said we'll keep watching it. Has anyone had this along with pregnancy, did it cause any problems?

My doctor explained most of these are functional cysts and shrink by 2nd trimester without doing anything. The concern is only if it grows large, twists or causes severe pain. So follow up scans are the main thing she advised, not panic.

With my PCOS I always had cysts so they scared me, but most just go away. I wont say yours is exactly the same since every case differs. Best to ask your own gynac how big it is and what she wants to watch.

I had a cyst flagged early in mine. Most hemorrhagic cysts are harmless and resolve on their own, but since yours is in pregnancy please let your gynac monitor it on scans. They watch the size and your symptoms. Dont self manage this one.
