Can high blood pressure be a sign of early pregnancy?
My BP came a bit high in a random checkup last week and im also feeling a missed period coming. Just confused na, can pregnancy itself raise the BP this early? Anyone noticed this with their first?
Having PCOS made me super cautious about every tiny symptom during my pregnancy journey. From what I know, high blood pressure isn't normally an early sign, but rather something that needs careful medical attention. Please consult your doc to be absolutely safe, they will guide u best.
Please check with your gynac as soon as possible about this. High blood pressure during pregnancy is something we should never take lightly or ignore. Only a doctor can evaluate this and tell you what is normal for your body.
Actually, blood pressure usually drops a bit in early pregnancy due to hormone changes, so a high reading is something to monitor. It's best not to guess and just visit your gynac for a proper checkup. They can run the right tests and give u proper advice.
Oh I remember panicking so much when my BP spiked slightly in the first month! My doctor checked me and said it's not a common early sign but can happen due to stress. Just track it and show your gynac once, everything will be fine.
I had such bad morning sickness that my BP actually went low because of dehydration. If yours is high, please don't wait for it to settle on its own. Talk to your gynac right away and drink plenty of water till then.
Honestly, with the crazy lack of sleep I have right now, my BP is always high lol. But seriously, high BP is not a typical early pregnancy sign, usually it actually goes down early on. Pls get it checked by your gynac soon instead of guessing, don't ignore it.
Hey, I am in my second trimester now and even I was wondering about this earlier! Did u check it on a machine at home or at a clinic? Let me know what your doctor says because even I get thoda anxious about BP readings.
