Can house shifting be done in 8th month of pregnancy?
We have to move to a new flat next month and i'll be in my 8th month by then. Im worried about all the running around, lifting and the stress of packing. Did anyone shift houses this late, how did u manage without overdoing it?
It can be done beta, just dont overdo it. No heavy lifting, no climbing on stools, no skipping meals in the chaos. Sit, direct others, and rest often. And keep your delivery hospital plan sorted before the move.
We shifted in my 8th month, totally doable if you delegate everything. I packed light boxes sitting down and let the movers do the rest. Keep your hospital bag and medical files in one bag you carry separately, and know which hospital is near the new place.
Be a little careful, the stress and standing around can be a lot this late. With my pregnancy the doctor told me to avoid exertion in the last weeks, so I would say run it by your gynac first, especially if you have any complications.
You can but please dont lift or carry anything heavy yourself, thats the main rule. Hire packers or get family to do all the lifting. You only supervise. The 8th month tires you fast so plan rest breaks.
Yaar its fine to shift but make others do the hard work, you just chill and point. Dont stress about packing perfectly, baby and you come first. Sort out the new doctor and hospital nearby, thats the real to do.
My MIL was so against me doing anything during my last month, she made everyone else handle the shifting while I just rested. Honestly it was nice to be told to sit. Let the family take over, you just relax.
