Can husband and wife do intercourse during pregnancy in islam?
We are a bit confused about this and dont feel comfortable asking elders. Just wanted to understand what is allowed during pregnancy from a religious side. Pls share if anyone knows properly.
Yes, it is allowed, but your comfort is the most important thing. During my pregnancy, my physical health was a bit low due to diabetes and fatigue, so we kept it very light and comfortable. Make sure you don't exhaust yourself, and always listen to what your doctor advises regarding your physical health.
Hum abhi planning kar rahe hain, par maine baji se pucha tha iske baare me. Unhone bataya ki Islam me pregnancy ke dauran relation banana bilkul halal hai aur koi pabandi nahi hai, jab tak doctor ne mana na kiya ho. Bas thoda dhyan se rehna chahiye.
It is 100% allowed in Islam, so please don't stress about it! My toddler is now 2, and we had a very normal intimate life throughout my pregnancy. Unless your gynaecologist has advised bed rest or warned of complications, it is perfectly safe and permissible.
Yes dear, it is completely permissible in our Deen. I remember feeling so self-conscious about this during my pregnancy, but my husband and I checked with a scholar who confirmed it is fully allowed. It actually helped us stay emotionally connected during those beautiful nine months.
I completely understand how much you must be worrying about this, as we always want to protect our little baby! Islamically, there is absolutely no restriction on intimacy during pregnancy as long as you are comfortable and there is no pain or medical issue. Just be gentle and try to stay relaxed, everything is safe.
