Can husband and wife have intercourse during pregnancy?
Bit shy to ask this but here goes. Im in 2nd trimester and we are unsure if its safe to be intimate. Dont want to harm the baby in any way. Plan to ask gynac also but wanted to hear ur experiences.
For us, we stayed active throughout my second trimester without any issues, but we were very gentle. It really depends on how comfortable you are feeling.
From what I have read, it is generally safe unless there are medical risks. It's always best to gently discuss this with your gynecologist to be absolutely sure.
It is absolutely normal and safe unless your gynac has specifically advised pelvic rest due to spotting or other risks. Just listen to your body and choose comfortable positions.
Since we conceived through IVF, our doctor strictly advised us to avoid intercourse in the first trimester for safety. If your pregnancy is normal it is fine, but do consult your specialist once for peace of mind.
In most normal pregnancies, it is completely safe as the baby is well protected. However, if you have any complications like high sugar or placenta previa, please ask your doctor first.
