There are so many things to pick up at home and i keep stopping myself from bending down. Im 20 weeks now. Is bending actually a problem or am i just being too careful? Pls share.
Beta, light bending is okay, no need to fear. Just dont lift heavy things or strain yourself, especially later on. Bend slowly from the knees and take support, that's what we always advised.
I was terrified to bend at all and froze up over everything. My doctor laughed gently and said normal movement is fine. Please dont stress like I did, just avoid heavy strain.
In early pregnancy normal bending is fine, you wont hurt the baby. As the belly grows it just gets uncomfortable, so bend at your knees instead of the waist. If you have back pain or any complication, ask your gynac before heavy lifting.
