Took the hcg injection during my treatment and its been about 15 days now. Im so impatient to test but scared the injection will give a wrong result. Has anyone tested at this point?
After an hcg injection a home test can be misleading. The leftover hormone confuses the result. Please go by the blood test date your doctor gives, dont rely on the strip.
This is exactly where I would not test at home after an hcg trigger, because it can show a false positive for a while. Please wait for the beta blood test your clinic schedules, usually around two weeks. I know the wait is so hard, hang in there.
I went through trigger shots too and I learned not to test early at home, it gave me false hope. The clinic's beta test is the real answer. Wait for that and try to stay calm, easier said than done I know.
