Im like 3 days away from my expected date and the wait is killing me honestly. Cant stop thinking about it. Is it even possible to test before the period is missed or will it just show wrong?
Oh I did this and drove myself crazy testing every morning before my period date. Honestly it just gave me anxiety with all the faint or no lines. Wait till you actually miss, your peace of mind is worth it trust me.
I tested 3 days before my period was due and it was negative, I felt so down. Then a week later positive. So technically you can try early but dont trust a negative one, the early ones lie a lot.
My gynac explained a blood beta hCG can detect pregnancy around 8-10 days after ovulation, so technically before the missed period. Home urine kits are less sensitive so they want you to wait till the period is actually missed. If you really want early answer, the blood test is the way.
You can but the result is unreliable that early. The hCG is too low before the missed date so you often get a false negative. Better to wait at least till the day of your missed period, saves you the false heartbreak.
