My periods are very irregular and its been 45 days now, no sign of period. Can i do the home test now or it will be too early? Bohot confused, pls someone guide.
The waiting period before testing is so emotionally draining, I completely understand. If you mean 4-5 days before your period, the result might not be clear yet. Try to wait a few more days to protect your peace of mind.
If you are trying to conceive, I know how hard it is to wait! But testing 4-5 days early might show a negative even if you are pregnant. Let's try to wait till the missed period date together.
If you meant 4 to 5 days before your missed period, you can try an early detection test, though waiting for the missed period date is always best. Make sure you're eating healthy while waiting, and avoid too much sugar if you have a family history of diabetes.
I think you mean 4-5 days before your period. Actually, testing too early can give a false negative because hCG levels are still low. It's best to wait until the first day of your missed period for an accurate result.
In my experience, testing early can just cause extra stress. I tested 2 days before my missed period and got a very faint line, which made me super anxious. It's much safer to wait until your period is actually late.
Waiting is hard, but testing too early isn't very reliable. Try to keep your mind busy with some light home chores or reading. If your period is late by a week and the test is still confusing, check with your doctor.
