We have been trying since couple of months and i think i may have missed my fertile window this time. Already past ovulation as per my app. Is there still a chance or should we wait for next cycle? thoda confused about the timing.
From what I learnt the egg lives only about 12 to 24 hours after ovulation, so the chance is there but small after that. The days just before and on ovulation are the best. I tracked mine to figure it out.
We are also trying and I had the same question. So I read the day right after ovulation can still work but it is a short window. Glad others are explaining this gently.
With PCOS my ovulation was irregular so tracking the exact day was hard for me. I would say dont stress over one day, just keep trying through the fertile phase. If cycles are very irregular maybe check with a gynac.
I used an ovulation tracker and it showed a fertile window, the day of and the day after ovulation still counted but lower. Sperm can survive a few days so timing before helps more. The app really helped me understand my cycle yaar.
