Can i conceive when i am taking hypothyroid medicine?

I have thyroid since 3 years and on daily tablet for it. We want to start a family now and im a little worried whether the medicine or the thyroid itself will make it hard. Anyone here conceived while on thyroid meds?

I was so worried about this same thing before conceiving. My doc said dont stop the medicine, controlled thyroid actually helps. Anyone else got pregnant on thyroxine? It really put my mind at ease.

Yes you can, I conceived while on thyroid medicine. Actually keeping thyroid controlled helps conceiving. The medicine is safe and you usually continue it. Just keep doing regular TSH tests and follow up with your doctor.
