My MIL keeps saying dont cut hair during pregnancy, its not good. But honestly my hair has become so long and heavy and in this heat i just want a short cut. Is it really an issue or just an old belief? im 5 months now.
My MIL was a bit hesitant about it because of old beliefs, but honestly there's no harm at all. I went ahead and cut mine and felt so much fresher. These are just traditions, not real rules.
Of course you can yaar, cutting hair has zero effect on the baby, it's just an old superstition. I got a nice short cut in both pregnancies, so much easier to manage. Do whatever makes you feel good.
Haha cut it, color your nails too, the baby doesnt care about your salon visits. I chopped mine short because washing long hair felt like a workout by trimester three. Treat yourself.
