Can i do abs workouts during initial pregnancy period?
Just found out im pregnant, must be around 6 weeks. I used to do core and ab routines regularly before and dont want to lose all that. Is it okay to continue in these early days or should i stop na?
I was into fitness before and my doc told me to avoid intense abs and crunches once pregnant. She said walking and gentle prenatal yoga is fine if cleared. Pls check with ur gynac before continuing abs, especially early on.
I would honestly be careful with this. Early pregnancy is sensitive and hard core abs workout puts pressure. Please ask your doctor first before doing anything strenuous, dont just continue your old routine.
Heavy abs and crunches better avoid karo. Light stretching and walking is enough in first trimester. No need to push yourself with core work right now, you can get back to it later.
Take it slow in the beginning yaar. There is no rush to maintain abs right now. Listen to your body and let your doctor guide what movement is safe, your baby first.
Depends on your history and how the pregnancy is going. Some women continue light modified exercise but only after the doctor clears it. Abs specifically, most gynacs say go easy. Best to confirm with yours.
