I used to cycle daily before pregnancy and honestly I really miss it. Now im 14 weeks and not sure if its safe to continue ya I should stop. Anyone here who kept cycling? pls share.
Actually dear, cycling outside involves a lot of balance and if God forbid you fall, it can be quite risky. When I had my C-section, I realized how much core strength is needed for recovery, so please protect your body right now. Better to stick to simple walks or ask your doc if you can use a stationary gym bike instead.
I completely understand how we want to stay active, but pregnancy is such a precious time, especially if the journey wasn't easy. Please be very gentle with yourself right now. It's usually safer to avoid outdoor cycling due to the risk of falling. Hugs to you, maybe ask your gynac about light prenatal yoga instead.
Honestly, outdoor cycling is generally not recommended because your center of gravity changes as the belly grows, which makes falling easier. But stationary cycling at home or gym is usually considered totally fine if your doctor clears you. Just keep the resistance low and don't let yourself get overheated.
Haan, exercise karna toh achha hai, par pregnancy me outdoor cycling thoda risky ho jata hai na. Balance bigadne ka darr rehta hai yaar. Gym waali cycle fir bhi safe hai agar slow speed pe chalao toh. Par ek baar apni gynac se consult zaroor kar lena, koi risk nahi lena chahiye.
Normal walks are much better and safer for you and the baby right now. Please avoid outdoor cycling to stay safe from any accidental falls. Take care, you are doing great.
