Our first ivf cycle and the wait is killing me honestly. Im 8dp transfer and so tempted to just check at home but scared it will show wrong and break my heart. Did anyone test before the beta date, was it accurate?
My fertility doctor specifically told me not to do home kits early because the trigger shot has hCG and it lingers, so the result wont be reliable. The beta hCG blood test on the date they give is the real confirmation. Easier said than done I know, the wait is hard.
I totally understand that two week wait feels endless. I tested at home and got a faint line that confused me so much, turned out it was the trigger. Trust your clinic's blood test date, it saves you from this rollercoaster. Praying it goes well for you.
I know how badly you want to test, I was the same. But after IVF its better to wait for the beta hCG blood test your clinic schedules, usually around 12-14 days after transfer. Home tests can give false results because of the trigger injection. Hold on a little, sending you so much hope.
Beta I know the wait is killing you but trust the process. After IVF the blood test is the proper way to confirm, home tests can play with your emotions. Stay calm and let your doctor guide you.
Please dont rely on home tests right after IVF. The hormone injections can show a false positive or false negative and just confuse you. Wait for the blood test your doctor told you, that is the accurate one.
