Its been around 2 weeks since we tried and im too impatient to wait longer. Will the test show correctly this early or should i hold on a few more days? dont want a false result and get my hopes up.
I tested too early the first time and it was negative, then positive few days later, so frustrating! Wait till ur period is actually missed, its worth the patience. Do it with morning urine for best chance.
My doctor said wait at least till the day ur period is due, testing too early gives wrong results because the hormone level is still low. 2 weeks could be ok if ur period is already late by then. For surety a blood test at lab is more accurate.
Best to test after ur missed period, that gives accurate result. 2 weeks after the act is roughly around that time so it should work, but use first morning urine. If its too early it shows false negative, then retest after few days.
Depends when u ovulated, the test works once your period is due. My app reminded me not to test too early. If 2 weeks lands on or after ur missed date, go for it, else wait couple more days.
