I bought a test kit but i was at work in the morning and totally forgot to do it. Now its afternoon and im too impatient to wait till tomorrow. Will the result be accurate if i test now or does it have to be first thing in morning?
Yes you can, but the first morning urine is the most concentrated and gives the clearest result, especially very early on. If you test in the afternoon, just don't drink too much water before. I got my faint line on a morning test.
Anytime works technically, the kits detect the hormone whenever it's present. But early on the levels are higher in concentrated morning urine. My app reminded me to test first thing for accuracy.
I tested in the afternoon out of impatience and got a very faint line, then a clear one next morning. So it works, but morning is sharper. If it's negative afternoon, retest at sunrise before assuming.
Haan do it whenever, I couldn't wait till morning either lol. Just go easy on water for a couple hours before so it's not too diluted. And if faint, retest in the am, dont stress.
