I do my namaz daily and the sajda part is getting little tough now with my growing pet. Im 5 months. Is it okay to continue or should i modify how i do it?
My elders always said to continue your prayers as usual but with care. For prostration, especially in later months, it may become difficult and put pressure on the belly. It's wise to discuss with your doctor about how to modify your prayers or if there are alternative positions that are safe for you and the baby.
As a new mom, I'd say any position that puts pressure on your abdomen needs to be very carefully considered. Especially as your bump grows, prostration might become uncomfortable or even risky. It's always best to ask your gynac if specific religious practices involving bending are safe for your pregnancy.
Prostration can put considerable pressure on your abdomen and might not be advisable, especially in the later trimesters. It could also make you feel dizzy when getting up. It's best to discuss this with your doctor; they can advise on safer prayer positions that don't strain your belly.
I totally overthought every single movement too! Generally, gentle movements are fine, but prostration involves a specific kind of bending and pressure. I wouldn't risk it without explicitly asking your doctor. They know your specific pregnancy best and can tell you if it's safe or if you need to modify it.
