I feel weak in afternoon and my mother says drink glucose water. But I am pregnant and also scared about sugar levels. Is it okay sometimes or should I avoid unless doctor says?
Be a little careful here. I had high sugar in pregnancy so my doc told me to avoid glucose drinks completely. If your sugar is normal an occasional one is fine, but please get tested before making it a habit.
In summer i used to feel weak and a glass of glucose helped me feel better. Just dont take too much daily. And if doctor checking your sugar, ask her once first ok.
A little glucose water in summer is ok for energy, i had it sometimes. But dont overdo it, especially if your sugar levels are being watched. Ask your gynac if you have any sugar issue.
Occasionally for energy its ok, but plain water and proper food are better most of the time. If you have any sugar concern your gynac should decide, dont rely on glucose drinks regularly.
