I usually prefer warm water over cold, even now in first trimester. MIL said thanda paani avoid karo but didnt say about lukewarm. Is it fine to keep drinking it?
Oh yes, dear, drinking lukewarm water is perfectly fine and often recommended. It helps a lot with digestion and overall comfort, especially when your body is going through so many changes. It's great you're being mindful about what you consume. Take care of yourself, mama!
My gynac actually recommended lukewarm water during pregnancy. She said it aids digestion, helps with constipation which is common in pregnancy, and keeps you well-hydrated without shocking your system. It's a very safe and beneficial practice. Just make sure it's not too hot.
Absolutely, lukewarm water is actually very good. After my C-section, the hospital staff also encouraged only lukewarm water for a few days, for better digestion and to avoid gas. So during pregnancy too, it's a great habit. It helps keep you hydrated comfortably.
Haan beti, bilkul pee sakte ho gunguna paani. Ye toh bohot acha hota hai. Gaon mein toh sabhi gunguna paani peete hain, khaaskar jab mausam thanda ho ya tabiyat theek na ho. Pregnancy mein toh ye pet ke liye bhi acha rehta hai. Mana nahi hai bilkul.
