Mornings im too nauseous to eat anything heavy so i thought of having oats with milk instead. Im in my first trimester. Is it okay to have it daily like this? trying to keep something light down.
Oats are a good choice, lower GI than many cereals which helped me manage sugar. Just go easy on adding sugar or honey on top, and watch portion. Plain oats with fruit worked best for me.
Yes oats are great in pregnancy, full of fiber and helps with constipation which is so common. I had oats porridge for breakfast often. Keep it not too sugary and you're sorted.
Oats were my go to, kept me full and energetic for my morning walks that doctor cleared. Add some fruit and nuts, makes a nice balanced start to the day. Totally safe.
Oats are lovely and light, I had them when I didnt feel like a heavy breakfast. Good for digestion too. Have it the way you like, it's a safe and wholesome option.
