Its so hot these days and i suddenly craved a chilled pepsi yaar. I know cold drinks arent great but just wondering if one glass once in a while is okay. Im in my first trimester. Anyone else had this craving?
An occasional sip wont harm, but fizzy drinks have caffeine, lots of sugar and gas, so best to keep it rare. I switched mostly to nimbu pani and coconut water. Treat it as a once in a while thing, not daily.
With my sugar issues I had to cut out soft drinks completely, they spike sugar fast. Even otherwise the sugar content is really high. If you crave fizz, maybe try soda with a splash of lemon instead.
If you really crave it, one small glass occasionally is not the end of the world yaar. Just dont make it your everyday drink. Hydrate more with water and fresh juices.
