Holi is coming up and everyone at home will be making thandai. I usually love it but this year im 4 months pregnant. With all the dry fruits and stuff in it, is it ok to have a glass?
Just one caution, thandai usually has a lot of sugar. I had to watch my sugar so i kept it minimal and unsweetened-ish. If your sugar is normal, a small glass of homemade one should be okay, but dont overdo the meetha.
As long as its the plain almond saffron kind and no alcohol/bhang, it should be okay in small amount. If you have any sugar or other condition, just run it by your doctor first to be safe.
Plain homemade thandai with milk, nuts, saffron is fine in moderation. Just make sure theres no bhang in it, that you must avoid completely. Market wala packets can have too much sugar so ghar ka is better.
Beta ghar pe banao to badhiya hai, badam pista kesar sab acha hai pregnancy me. Bas thandi cheezein kam kam, and obviously koi nasha wali cheez bilkul nahi. Thoda peelo, problem nahi.
