I commute to office daily on my activa and now that im 4 months along everyone at home is telling me to stop. The roads here are bumpy so im a bit worried too but stopping makes things difficult. Anyone continued riding their scooty?
Beta if you must, keep rides short and ride gently. The worry is sudden braking or a fall. If you feel even a little unsteady, please switch to a cab or ask someone to drop you, no shame in that.
I rode my scooty till about my 5th month for office, then stopped as the bump got bigger and balance felt off. Early on its usually fine if roads are smooth and you go slow. Avoid bad bumpy roads and rush hour traffic though.
Actually it depends on how youre feeling yaar. First few months I drove normally, but later the potholes and sudden braking made me nervous so I switched to auto. Listen to ur body and dont take risk on bad roads.
I would say be a little careful with this. A small jerk or fall can be risky. If your pregnancy is normal early stage, short slow rides may be okay, but please ask your doctor especially if you have any complications.
Early months yes, with caution. Go slow, avoid heavy traffic and bumpy roads. As the belly grows balance becomes harder so most women stop in later trimesters. Use ur judgement, dont overdo distance.
