I use my scooty daily for office and small errands. Now that im in 2nd trimester my MIL is saying stop it completely, but the roads near me are ok and not too bumpy. Did you all keep riding or stop?

Actually early on it is okay yaar, but our city traffic is mad na. I switched to cab in the later months for safety, balance also changes. Wear helmet and dont take long rides.
I drove my scooty till about the 5th month for office, then stopped as the belly grew. Roads are bumpy so it gets uncomfortable and risky later. If you must, go slow, avoid potholes and rush hour, and stop the moment it feels unsafe.
First trimester fine, later trimesters I would avoid it. Balance shifts and one bad pothole is not worth the risk. Use cab or get someone to drop you in the last months.
I would say please ask your gynac first, especially if you have any complication. A sudden jerk or fall is the real worry, not the driving itself. Mine asked me to avoid two wheeler after a point and I listened.
