This is my ivf baby after a long wait so honestly im extra careful with food. Someone suggested soaked walnuts daily for the baby's brain. Just want to be sure its okay in my case before i start, anyone here?
I did IVF too and yes I ate akhrot, my doctor actually encouraged nuts for the omega 3. A couple soaked walnuts in the morning is lovely. Since it's IVF just mention it once to your own doctor, they like to keep an eye on everything, but generally it's a good food.
I'd say a small handful is fine, walnuts are good for hormones too. I had them through my pregnancy. Since IVF needs extra care, just confirm the quantity with your doctor and you're set.
Walnuts are great, good for baby's brain development. I used to soak 2-3 overnight and eat in morning. No reason it would be different in IVF, just keep the portion sensible.
My fertility doctor put walnuts and almonds on my recommended list because of the healthy fats. She just said soak them and dont overeat since nuts are calorie dense. So yes, in moderation it's beneficial.
