I love banana yaar, kha leti hu almost daily with breakfast. But my MIL keeps saying it's thanda and not good in pregnancy. Im in 2nd trimester now, is it actually fine ya should i avoid? Pls share.
Bananas are perfectly fine, they have great potassium and vitamin B6 which help with nausea too. Just wash them well and don't eat too many at night if you get a cold easily. Otherwise, it's a super practical snack to keep in your bag!
Honestly, banana is like my ultimate pre-workout snack before my light prenatal yoga sessions! My gynac allowed me to do gentle yoga and walks, so this gives me instant energy. Just dont overeat if u have gestational diabetes issues, otherwise it is super healthy.
My saas actually insists I eat at least one banana daily to avoid those leg cramps at night. Mere ghar pe to sab bolte hain soft fruit hai, baby ke liye accha hai. Of course, regular checkups and doc's green light are always there.
Kha sakti ho, isme koi problem nahi hai! Banana se constipation me bhi bada relief milta hai na. Bas dhyan rakhna ki fresh aur clean fruit hi khao, thoda throat infection ke chances kam ho jayenge tab.
In our home, my mother-in-law used to say banana is very good for digestion and prevents constipation during these months. I still double-checked with my doctor during my monthly scan, and she said absolutely go ahead. It is completely safe and very nutritious.
