Craving something crunchy and namkeen since morning yaar, second trimester and my taste buds are all over the place. Is packet chips like this okay once in a while or should i avoid? pls share.
You can have a few pieces to satisfy your craving, but don't overdo it. Because of my PCOS, I had to watch my weight and junk food intake very closely. It's okay occasionally, just drink lots of water.
I had severe gastric issues and bloating in my first trimester, so my doctor strictly told me to avoid spicy packed chips. If you already have stomach pain or acidity, better to ask your gynac first.
I ate them sometimes, cravings are crazy yaar! But actually, try not to eat the whole packet at once. It has too much masala and can give you bad heartburn later.
Currently in my 9th month eating these while watching TV lol. Honestly, the baby loves the spicy taste but my throat burns like fire afterwards. Eat a small bowl, don't finish the big packet like me!
I used to keep a small packet in my office drawer for quick afternoon cravings. It's totally fine to eat, just don't replace your actual meals with it. Balance it with some healthy roasted makhana.
A packet now and then is fine, but eating too much junk leads to acidity and extra doctor visits. Hospital tests and medicines are already so expensive these days. Better to eat ghar ka dry snacks and save money.
Don't worry, a few chips won't harm the baby at all. Just make sure you don't eat it on an empty stomach, otherwise you might get acidity. Keep some coconut water ready to soothe your tummy.
