My MIL keeps saying avoid curd in the first few months, especially at night. But i honestly love curd rice and its the only thing that settles my nausea. Confused now, is there really any harm in early pregnancy?
Beta curd is very good, gives calcium and keeps the body cool. We always said don't eat it at night but that is just old talk. If you have no cold problem, eat in the day time happily.
Yes ma, curd is totally fine. At home my amma made me eat curd rice almost daily in early months and it kept my stomach cool. Just keep it fresh, my gynac said homemade dahi is best.
Curd was a regular for me and it really helped my gut. Honestly if you have any specific condition just run it by your gynac once, but for most of us plain homemade curd is safe na.
Had curd through both my pregnancies, no issue at all. Good for digestion actually, helps when you feel that acidic. Just avoid eating it very cold or late at night if you catch cold easily.
